The Pavis Christmas Bazaar took place on Saturday 27th November in the Reading Rooms in Billericay. Takings broke all previous records with a final tally of £507.86 Thanks to all who have helped with the preparations and on the day. Thanks also to the public who supported us so generously.
We are now taking orders for large print calendars and diaries. Diaries are in three sizes. For more details phone Jane on 01268 522817
Initial figures for the Autumn Fayre in Laindon Community Centre show Pavis taking £165.29 from the catering, tombola and children's activities. There will be additional income to be added to this.
On 18th July 2010 several of our members and staff enjoyed the Fun Walk organised by John Baron MP. They raised over £1000 in sponsorship and we received a bonus cheque for over £800 from the corporate sponsors. We are grateful for the opportunity and support provided by the organisers.
Our Fourth Spring Fayre was held in Billericay on Saturday 24th April 2010. There was the usual variety of stalls and a grand total of £388 was taken - the best yet for this event.
Our Tennis Group meets in Fryerns Baptist Church hall, Whitmore Way, Basildon SS14 2TJ on Mondays from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. Using a ball with sound enables people with sight loss to listen for where it bounces and send it back. Why not give it a go? Click on Activities to find out more.
